Would a pygmy Chimpanzee make for a good pet?

I know the regular sized ones are dangerous, but how about those small ones?

I saw a show on TV about these peaceful chimps that don't fight but have a lot of sex.

No, I don't want sex with it!!

Just for a pet.|||No primates make for good pets...initially they're cute and cuddly, but when they reach sexual maturity they often become aggressive due to their frustration in being kept in an environment for which they simply were never intended, and you would be amazed at the strength of these guys...even the little ones can be stronger than humans.

The ideal relationship between man and pet is for both to be happy. Most wild animals don't fit that bill and to keep them as domestic pets is usually harmful to their spirit and development, which can result in poor health as well. You also would need to check with your local animal regulations...not all animals are legal to own in all areas. Either way, however, I really would suggest you re-consider the choice and get something that will be as happy in your home as you are to have it there.|||as fun as it would be,

the chimp would not be happy. And where would you buy it? Its also probably illegal. Plus, I think chimps should stay in the wild or in zoos.|||yes but no
