Who would win in a fight between Bruce Lee and a chimpanzee?

Assuming Bruce was in his prime.|||Haven't you seen Enter the Dragon? If the chimp threatened him to fight, he would trick the chimp to get on a boat so they could fight, then he would politely smile as the sea carried the chimp away. Ha ha.

Anyway, Bruce Lee was very well-versed in Eastern philosophy (i.e. Zen Buddhism, Taoism). Which is to say, he probably wouldn't fight an animal just to prove he could kick its ***. Kung fu masters only fight someone either in self-defense or because they've been dishonored. So I suppose technically the chimp would win by default. Unless he caught Bruce on a bad day, in which case that monkey is GOING DOWN.|||Alive in his prime?|||A chimp is about five times stronger than a man. If you were to give Bruce Lee the benefit of the doubt and say he was 3 times as strong as a regular man, he's still way understrength. Not counting the part where wild animals have faster reflexes than people. He'd get murdelated.|||the chimp is a primate so they are both basically in their "prime" haha. Bruce easily. now an upland gorilla would rip his arms off and beat him senseless with them.|||Are you some sort of fool - man Bruce Lee is one of the all time greatest martial arts experts - although granted a chimp is pound for pound stronger. Mr Lee would have whopped his hairy ***.

ps - i was beaten to the prime - ate joke !!!!!!

Up The Villa|||The chimp, unless Bruce Lee used a gun. Did you hear about the man who was assaulted by a chimp at a wild life sanctuary in California? Besides having his face and ankle chewed off he lost another very important part of his anatomy.|||Everyone seems to not understand the advantage of using martial arts. Although a chimpanzee may have more strength, Bruce Lee's reflexes can match to that of another animal. in addition, the use of martial arts is to use one's body effectively, so even if someone may be stronger, the use of the arts allows the combatant to strategically attack another in a combination of moves, rendering the attacked well... beaten to a pulp.
