How does human communication differ from chimpanzee communication?

Chimpanzees feel emotions much like we do- they work together in cooperative groups, they mourn the loss of a family member together, they feel commitment and loyalty, they get angry and jealous as we do. They communicate their emotions through facial expressions primarily, and body motions and movement. For instance, when they bare their teeth, that means they are scared and/or angry. It almost looks as though they are smiling! They do not possess the vocal chords necessary for speech as we do, other than grunts and "growls" and hollers. Chimps will make an "ooh ooh ooh" sound when they are excited or alarmed, either positively or negatively. While they cannot speak in words, it is clear when you observe chimpanzees that they communicate just as much as we do and that their emotions are very obvious. They are fascinating creatures! And brilliant!|||well, I believe we communicate slightly better what with the talking and all.
