How much would a chimpanzee cost, i really want one bad?

Haha, i've always wanted a monkey, and after seeing Rise of Planet of the Apes, i want one twice as much. So if you can even legally own one, how much do you think it would cost. and odviously i'm not going to buy one until i learn how to take care of it ahead of time.|||You want to lose your face? Do you want to be scarred for life? Do you want your arm ripped out of it's socket? Do you want to lose an eye?

Even worse; do you want the Chimpanzee to suffer? Do you want it to be under stress? Do you want it to die young? Do you want it to spend the rest of it's life caged in a zoo?

If you want these things, then get yourself a Chimpanzee, and most of them will come true.

Apes, especially Chimpanzees, do NOT make good pets. I repeat; do NOT make good pets. Just ask that woman who was attacked about a year ago by one she had kept for years.

Chimpanzees are cute and cuddly when they are young, but once they reach maturity, something snaps, and they become VERY dangerous. A full grown Chimp can kill a human with no problem.

I've worked in a couple of zoos that had X-pet Chimpanzees. Their canine teeth had been pulled so they could not defend themselves well against the others; some were sick and/or injured; others were just very neurotic because of captivity and close association with humans.

Apes belong in one place, and one place ONLY - the wild. If you truly love them, that's where you'll leave them.

.|||I'm guessing you learned nothing from that movie at all seeing as you still want to buy one, now did you?|||Illegal without a special license, and very, very expensive.|||u can't buy a gorilla without a license it is illegal|||A chimpanzee is not a monkey it's an A.P.E. !
