Michael had a home theatre at his Neverlands Ranch where he could have watched numerous wildlife documentaries. Some of those animals really seemed to know how to move all right especially when they were being chased by a hungry predator.
The chimps looked good in the trees when we saw scenes from the jungle.
Also Michael and had a pet chimp called "Bubbles". Is it possible that Michael learnt some of his routines by imitating his pet monkey?|||Haha! no he got inspired by several dancers. but who knows...maybe he got a couple moves from them. haha
He took the moonwalk from kids in the ghetto and popularized it.
As for the other moves I heard he was inspired by Charles Washington, the guy who created the robot.
As for Popping It was probably invented by the Electric Boogaloos.
And finally Locking, invented by Don Campbell.
