How does a chimpanzee's mind works?

There has been more than one incident of a chimpanzee pet attacking its owner and tearing of their face. These Chimps had been born, bred and kept in captivity and just snapped and became dangerous.|||You can't ever truly tame a wild animal. It has taken hundreds of years for humanity to domesticate animals like dogs, cats, and cattle, and even domesticated animals can still be aggressive. Chimps may be smart, but they are still wild animals nonetheless.
