Is it racism to call a chimpanzee a monkey just because he doesn't have a tail.?

Is an orangutan on the same level in the evolutionary chain as a chimpanzee? Only from a different branch. Which are closer to reaching a stage in the chain where they may be admitted or accepted in heaven?|||That would be specism.|||As a white male I don't believe I'm qualified to address questions concerning racism.|||Animals are already in heaven. It's called Nature. And we are in hell because we were removed from nature.|||There is no heaven, your question is irrelevant to evolution. They are different genera, they cannot have races. If they were subspecies of each other then yes you could call it racism, but only if it was discriminatory to on subspecies or the other.

Edit: (After an ad hominin attack in own question)

Subspecies and races are the same thing, they can interbreed and have offspring. Science does not care about being politically correct so calm down. I wouldn't even consider you do be a different race/subspecies, don't imply racism where there is none, it make you look stupid.|||no he doesnt care what you say. He isnt human.|||Monkey isn't a race. Chimp isn't a race. To answer your question... no.|||Let it go Sha.

All believers go to heaven. Why care what others think?|||Part 1) Well, chimps and monkeys are different species, not different races within the same species - so, no, it isn't a racist remark. I guess you could call it specieist.

Part 2) Also, there aren't really "levels" in the evolutionary chain. Evolution is just the process of species adapting to best thrive in their unique environment. The chimp and orangutan are in different branches yes. But you can't really say one is "higher" or "superior" to the other. The chimp thrives in his specific environment (Africa) and the orangutan in his (SE Asia). If you swapped them, probably neither would fare well (without more evolution). The only possible exception might be humans who have evolved to thrive in multiple environments - that you could probably consider "superior." (Tho we're not too good if you toss us in the ocean.)

Part 3) I think only humans, chess-playing computer-programs, and self-aware androids can get into heaven.
