It is not impossible that in a few million years, sharks will evolve into something smarter, but it is unlikely because something is already dominating that opportunity.|||It has been scientificaly proven that mammals that live in the water have a much more developed brain than mammals that live on land. It has also been theorized that apes once lived and dived around water, reason for humans having such a developed brain.|||They didn't. Since there isn't anything in the Bible about chimpanzee writing the Bible, therefore it must be true since we cannot disprove it. Is it legal to own a chimpanzee in MI, and where can I buy one?
My family and I are interested in buying a english chimpanzee, or monkey of a smaller kind to have as a pet. Not looking to spend tons of money either. Anywhere between $100-$500. I was wondering where I could purchase a chimpanzee, and if it is legal to own one in Michigan. Thanks.|||Michigan currently only bans big cats and bears. You would have to check your county, township, or city laws.

A chimp costs at least $10,000 if not 50,000, and monkeys sell for a few thousand too. That doesn't include the expensive vet care and other needs.|||Possession of any exotic mammal is illegal. If you do get one, be prepared you almost certainly will have to give it up because as they get older and reach puberty they turn extremely vicious no matter how they are cared for. Unless they are with a mate. Michael Jackson had to give up bubbles because it turned vicious and his was amazingly cared for :) good luck #:D|||I'm not aware of the legality, but Chimps are aggressive when kept as family pets. The human knee and pelvis are structured differently for upright walking.|||there are a few major differences between the two.
the major difference is that the Foreman Magnum(the place where the spinal chord meets the skull) is located directly below the skull in humans, where as in chimps, it is located towards the back of the head. being directly underneat the skull indicated bipedalism, which humans are and chimps are not, hence the location of the foreman magnum.
the second (this is not on the skull but just a good fyi) is that because humans are bipedal, their knees are stronger then those of chimps, as well as the shape of the human pelvis gets narrower towards the bottom to support our upright position(this is also why child birth is so painful btw)
(haha now one about the skull) a third difference is that humans forehead is more verticle then the chimpanzee skull - the chimps skull slopes backwards more. this means that the brain case in humans is larger, because there is more room for the brain. because the chimps forehead slopes back, it limits the amount of space that the brain can occupy, thus making the brain smaller.
last but not least, the teeth. the teeth on a chimpanzee are longer, and the canines are sharper, where as humans have nearly completly flat teeth, and reletively small teeth. the larger teeth indicate using your teeth for a weapon, as well as needing them for hunting, which are things that humans do not use their teeth for, hence the more flat shape.
